You need to code & view the site as every type of user, so you can add or remove stuff for each group, The best thing to do is talk to the developer(s), They may shed some light on why the site is set to closed.
The Developer needs to create a User in each group for testing, make the edits to the html. css & jquery then test each page with a user from each group. If it fails, it's back to editing & debuging until such point the site is bug free.
